Emilie Hahn is a designer, artist and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California.

Her work reflects her fascination with finding humanity in both the mundane and the magnificent. She blends traditional techniques with modern interpretations, favoring the unique imperfections of stop motion, hand drawn animation, and real paint.

She has over 10 years of industry experience, which includes working in the puppet and art department on Tim Burton's Frankenweenie, being a puppet fabricator on Cartoon Network’s Emmy award-winning Robot Chicken, a graphic designer for ad agency MullenLowe, and most recently a senior designer creating brand identity and packaging design for Jones Knowles Ritchie.

She received her degree in Graphic Design with distinction from ArtCenter College of Design, with a Designmatters Minor in Social Innovation. She also holds a BFA in Film from School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and studied illustration at Universität der Künste, Berlin.

Her work has been recognized by Communication Arts, HOW International Design Awards, and Madewell's Hometown Heroes.
